Every successful soccer goal can be broken down into a collection of individually achieved fitness principles such as speed, agility, quickness, and flexibility. When players begin to understand the physical science behind their sport, this creates a well balanced, smarter player who makes better decisions on the field. No matter how much a player develops mentally in soccer, if they aren’t developing their fitness as well, part of the success puzzle is missing.
FC National works hard to bring the very best in the industry to teach the specific fitness principles behind every play. Throughout each year we hold fitness camps that focus on developing aerobic and endurance fitness by bringing some of the best instructors from around the world to work with them.

We’re pleased to announce that Jerome Romain, former Olympian, World Championship Bronze Medal winner, will be coaching a Speed & Agility Camp throughout the month of June! Fun drills, exercises, and practices will help players develop their speed and body control using sprint mechanics, balance, and quickness drills. The first hour Jerome will be working with players on speed and fitness and the second hour will be devoted to applying those disciplines within friendly soccer matches with each other.
THE CAMP:
Focuses on a mix of running & fitness techniques & fitness with Jerome Romain. One hour of soccer fitness/games.

Players should wear soccer clothing and cleats. Remember to bring your soccer ball and plenty of water.
